What we collect
When you use Juno & Sterling, we store your conversation with Juno in our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU). This includes the messages you send and the products Juno recommends to you.
If you create an account, we store your email address. We use Supabase Auth for sign-in — we never see or store a password.
If you save a product to your shortlist, we store the product ID against your account.
We do not store payment information. We do not run advertising. We do not sell data.
How we use it
Your conversation is used to give Juno context — so she can make better recommendations within the session, and remember your preferences if you return.
We do not use your conversation to train AI models. Conversations are not shared with any third party except as described below.
Third parties
Anthropic — we use Claude to power Juno's conversation. Messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
OpenAI — we use OpenAI's embedding model to power product search. Search queries are sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI's privacy policy applies.
Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Data is stored in EU data centres. Supabase's privacy policy applies.
Vercel — our hosting provider. Request logs may be retained briefly. Vercel's privacy policy applies.
We may earn a commission when you purchase through a retailer link. Retailers do not receive your personal data from us.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at privacy@junoandsterling.com and we will action it within 30 days.
Under UK GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been handled improperly.
